About Us

PCHA is a non-profit organization established by Plant City in 1957, and empowered with the responsibility and authority to maintain the Public Housing Program, for the City of Plant City, Florida. The Section 8 Program was created by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and amended by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1981 and the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. The Authority was established in accordance with Florida Statutes to develop, manage, and maintain low income housing and housing assistance programs for low income families.

LANDLORDS: Plant City Housing Authority is seeking landlords who which to add to our property listing for our Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly known as Section 8 program.) If you wish to list your property with us you may email us at S8program@plantcityhousing.org.
